How to Install the EDRARXD1
- Push the tab on the filter cover to lower the filter door.
- Hold the existing filter in place.
- Turn the old filter counterclockwise.
- Pull the old filter out and discard it.
- Clean any water that may have leaked during removal.
- Align the raised section of the new EDRARXD1 with the opening in the refrigerator filter receiver.
- Push the new filter into the housing until it is fully seated.
- Hold the filter in place and turn the bottom dial clockwise to lock it.
- Make sure the lock symbol and dial are properly aligned.
- Push the filter cover back into position.
- Flush water through the system and discard the first few gallons to remove carbon fines from the new filter.
- Reset the refrigerator filter indicator if required.
