Activated Carbon Odor Filtration
The PAULTRA2 PureAir Ultra II uses activated carbon media specifically designed for refrigerator air filtration.
As air circulates through the refrigerator's filtration system, the carbon media helps capture and neutralize unwanted odor-causing molecules. This can help reduce lingering food smells and maintain a fresher-smelling refrigerator interior.
Filters Fast describes the PAULTRA2's activated-carbon media as being more effective than baking soda for odor removal. Frigidaire similarly markets the PureAir Ultra II as outperforming baking soda for refrigerator odor control.
